The Hyakuna Garan is a charming luxury resort on the less crowded southern side of the mainland. Set on the edge of a small cliff, the cliff face is lushly landscaped with trees and plants, all growing among a few large Ghibli-esque statues. The public areas are wonderful with glass panels allow viewing of the "Ghibli" landscape on the cliff side, and offering open views of the ocean on the other side. The open air bath area is a major delight - very private with an outdoor bath, great views of the sea, and deck chairs for relaxing. The food is excellent. Staff are excellent.
