The Grand Prince Hotel, Hiroshima.

Overview

Hiroshima is an amazing city. It's located on the bay with easy access to numerous beautiful islands, and is well-designed with lots of green space, parks, and gardens. It's most popular for its peace museum, the historic remains of the atomic bomb dome building, incredible food, and the beautiful island of Miyajima. The hotels in Hiroshima can also bring you the most amazing discounts during the off-peak season (Dec-Feb and Jun-Aug), with hotels slashing their prices by more than 50%. If there was ever a time to indulge in a luxury or high-end hotel, it would be when you're visiting Hiroshima. The city is also one of the most common sightseeing destinations for people to skip, because all they think about is the Peace Museum, but it's worth a visit even without the museum. You'll be charmed and surprised by the food, Hiroshima Castle, and the island of Miyajima which is filled with amazing temples, friendly deer, and the famous Itsukushima torii gate resting in the water.

"The view - this hotel is all about the view! Perched on the edge of the water, the views were amazing and gave it that extra special feeling. Once you've eaten on the 23rd floor, no other breakfast experience will quite match up. We were a group of 3, and the room was nice and spacious. Enjoyed the breakfast which had a nice variety of Japanese and Western foods. Staff were all very sweet and professional. There is a small shop in the lobby selling both souvenirs and essentials. We used the travel office to book tickets on the fast boat to Miyajima which was much more convenient than public transport and much quicker."
